"The Concept Design of the House"

Tudo tem um ciclo de formação ou desvanecimento.
O exercício agora proposto pede-nos que façamos a casa para a qual temos andado a trabalhar - primeiro os interiores e sua filosofia, seguindo-se a filosofia do todo abstracto da casa, o ideograma - juntando as duas fases anteriores numa só.
Tal como o ciclo escolar, o tema da casa que proponho oferece um ciclo de formação e desvanecimento, estando isso ligado à filosofia do Feng Shui, do qual tratei na organização interior da casa no primeiro exercício, ciclo que toma o nome no Feng Shui de “Ciclo da Criação ou Geração dos 5 Elementos”, englobando assim o tema das 4 Estações que tratei simultaneamente a filosofia do Feng Shui e uma política de fruição do espaço em que se pretende criar várias sensações numa só unidade.
Essa unidade contém na sua concepção geral (paralelepípedos), também, a filosofia do Feng Shui, a qual nos diz que formas rectangulares ou quadradas são formas ideais para se fazer uma casa.
O objectivo do meu projecto, é uma sucessão de espaços que procuram libertar e conter em si as quatro estações, por meio de paralelepípedos nivelados segundo aquelas, e suspensos por pilotis (de inspiração em Le Corbusier) Para tornar a fruição etérea.
As Estações extremas são niveladas entre si, como as estações mais amenas, sendo as extremas mais altas, representando as altas amplitudes térmicas.
Todos os espaços são orientados segundo o movimento do sol que nos dará o sentir absoluto, não só das quatro estações anuais mas também diárias, procurando-se omnipresença do tema, também, através da colocação de árvores altas e elegantes (Choupos) que marquem presença no todo da construção, como elementos essenciais no todo, que por si só vivam intensamente o tema (tendo folha caduca, flor, e fruto). Estas são colocadas num pátio interior e em alguns pontos exteriores da casa, sendo visíveis das dependências assim como nas suas transições.
Focando-me agora mais no pormenor. As dependências contêm em vidro nas zonas onde é conveniente apanharem luz directa, de forma a fazer-se sentir a estação correspondente.
Assim, tudo começa num túnel de preparação e reflexão para o tema proposto (entrada) de inspiração em Tadao Ando, seguindo-se a primavera (a este). Acede-se de seguida ao Verão, sendo o escritório, onde o quente de sul representa o movimento da actividade neste espaço criada, estando a pertinência da localização no piso térreo ligada ao facto de se poder aceder sem participar do uso do resto das dependências, facilitando a sua visita. Aqui estão também as escadas que nos levam, ambas, de forma directa para a sala, fazendo desta o centro da casa, sítio propício para colocá-la segundo o Feng Shui.
A pertinência da colocação de dois vãos de escadas, reside não só na funcionalidade, mas também para organizar o ciclo das 4 estações, a filosofia do Feng Shui , e por razões estéticas. Estas são em caracol, pela sua beleza e necessidade de ocupação mínima de espaço, sendo o limite em vidro para proporcionar a quem as usa o sentir absoluto da transição das quatro estações.
Por uma das escadas pode-se ir para o corredor dos quartos (a este), ligando-se o acordor dos habitantes com o começo do ciclo das quatro estações. Pela mesma escada pode-se ir para a sala que está direccionada a sul, ligando-se o calor à ambiência gerada pelo convívio, estando em sintonia.
Pelo segundo vão de escadas, pode-se aceder primeiro ao Outono, onde é a Sala de Jantar, direccionada a Oeste, onde o sol se põe, e onde há o desvanecer das sub estações diárias - pequeno almoço, almoço, lanche e jantar.

4 Seasons
Everything has a cycle of formation or evanescence. The exercise that is now proposed is to build the house for which we have been working on- first the interiors and its philosophy, following the philosophy of all of the house`s abstract, the ideogram- joining the two previous phases into one.
Like the school cycle, the subject of the house that I propose offers a cycle of formation and evanescence, which is linked to the philosophy of Feng Shui, from which I treated the interior organization of the house in the first exercise, the cycle which goes by the name of Feng Shui of “Cycle of the Creation or Generation of the 5 Elements”, enclosing the subject of the four seasons that I treated simultaneously the philosophy of Feng Shui and a politic of fruition of the space in which it is intended to create several sensations in only one unit.
That unit contains in its general conception (paving stones), also the philosophy of Feng Shui, which tell us that rectangular or square forms are ideal forms of making a house.
The objective of my project is a succession of spaces that are going to free and contain in itself the four seasons, using levelled paving stones and suspended by pillars (inspiration in Le Corbusier) to make the fruition ethereal.
The extreme seasons are levelled among themselves, like the mild seasons, being the extremes higher, representing the high thermal amplitudes.
All of the spaces are oriented by the movement of the sun that will give us the absolute feeling, not only of the four annual seasons but also daily, looking for omnipresence of the subject, also, by placing high and elegant trees (poplars) that mark presence in all of the construction, like essential elements in one, that by itself live intensely the subject (having decrepit sheet, flower and fruit). These are put in an interior patio and in some exterior points of the house, being visible from the dependences as well as in their transitions.
I will now focus in more details. The dependences have glass in the zones where it is more convenient to have direct sun-light, in order to feel the corresponding season.
And so, everything starts in a tunnel of preparation and reflection for the subject proposed (entrance) from inspiration in Tadao Ando, following Spring (to east). Afterwards acceding to Summer, being the office, where the warmth of south represents the movement of activity in this space created, being the pertinence of the location in the ground floor connected to the fact that we can have access to it without using the rest of the dependences, making it easy to visit. Here are also the stairs that take us, both, directly to the living room, making this the centre of the house, a favourable place to put it according Feng Shui. The pertinence of the placement of two vain of stairs, reside not only in the functionality, but also to organize the cycle of the four seasons, the philosophy of Feng Shui, and by esthetical reasons. These are spiral, by its beauty and the need for occupying the minimum space, being the limit in glass to provide who uses them the absolute transition of the four seasons.
From one of the staircases it is able to go to the rooms corridor (to east), linking the habitants “waking up” to the beginning of the cycles of the four seasons. By the same staircases we can go to the living room which is directed to south, linking heat to the atmosphere generated by sociability, being in syntony.
By the second staircase, we have access first to Autumn, where the dinning room, directed to West, where the sun sets, and where there is the evanescence of the sub daily seasons- breakfast, lunch and dinner.
From the dinning room we can go to Winter (kitchen to North, because we want “fresh” where the food is) which its access is by a ramp, where we can always see a tree that reminds us of the season that we are in.

Adorei o projecto...Aqui está uma casa onde eu gostaria de viver também, em comunhão real com a Natureza, que em meu entender é a única coisa que realmente vale a pena, pela sua generosidade para connôsco, pela sua infinita beleza e pela sua companhia e presença constante. Este teu projecto consegue que a Natureza seja a nossa companheira premanente, o que faz com que a vivência numa casa como esta seja um pervilégio.
